Arthur’s passion was born from a decade of experience, travel, and a deep admiration for the culture he fell in love with in his twenties. He found comfort and joy in the colourful streets of Antigua, sharing pupusas with Cecilia — his newly found love — while rain danced on cobblestones and music filled the air. Those moments of warmth, connection, and food became the heartbeat of Quinta.

When Arthur and Cecilia arrived in London, they were inspired by the city’s diversity and openness — a mosaic of cultures where every cuisine finds a home. Yet something was missing: the taste of their favourite memory-foods, the soulful flavours of Mesoamerica. So, they decided to bring them here — not just the recipes, but the spirit of togetherness that inspired them.
